Love:
1. Great views and contemporary property just like the pictures.
2. Clean place with lots of towels.
3. Close to Cas Abou beach, one of the best beaches on the Island.
Surprises:
1. Property is 10 minutes in after you get to the security guard gate. To get to the nearest supermarket, it'll take you 30minutes round trip! You can't drive fast because of speed bumps and paved roads that barely allow one car to pass.
2. GPS will not take you the property. We were using Google Maps and Maps.me (offline).
It's newly build area. Make sure to get detailed description on how to get to property.
3. No soap or shampoo is provided. I wouldn't mind getting my own had someone told us
4. In spite of me asking about Netflix 48 hours in advance, the TV didn't work. It was finally replaced on the 3rd day.
5. There is an office/storage outside this building. Expect workers working/talking/cleaning/testing machinery at 9am on weekdays. Good luck with trying to sleep in.
6. Biggest surprise: These are two buildings. Building 1 has a huge living room with half-bath + kitchen + laundry + access to the pool. Building 2 is a separate build about 15-20 feet away. It has 3 separate rooms that can only be accessed from the outside. There is no door way between the rooms. In order for one to get to the other room, you have open the sliding door from one room, go OUTSIDE, walk over the other rooms and open their sliding door from the outside to go in. There are no entrance doors to the rooms. Everything is a sliding door. This is great if 3 couples are staying. But with young children, you can't leave them by themselves. You won't be able to hear them if they cry at night. Description or PDFs sent did not disclose this. We ended up only using 2 bedrooms since we were not comfortable with the kids being separated from us to that extent (they are young).

Villa 308 is a fantastic place to stay. Views are spectacular and amenities (including nearby Karakter and Koraal restaurants) leave nothing to be desired. Andreas is a wonderful, very responsive host. Highly recommended!

It's quite far from everything so you have a lot of privacy. The host is very thoughtful and even though it rains now and then, you can still sit outside :)
